Visit / Event notes

Everything you need to know about your visit to us. We look forward to seeing you!

If you have any further questions, please contact us by e-mail at info@lit.ruhr.

Events from the adult program usually last 90 minutes, children's events 60 minutes.

No, there is no break during the events, if not communicated differently.

There is no compulsory checkroom at our venues this year. For information on whether there is a checkroom at the venues, please check the respective venue website or your ticket.

At almost all of our events, the performers sign after the event. This will be announced at the event, depending on the person.

Please follow the instructions on site, as different rules apply in the halls.

Unless otherwise stated in the program or on the homepage, the event will be held in German.

When planning our festival, we pay particular attention to removing barriers. Many of our venues have wheelchair-accessible access and toilets as well as an induction loop; we also offer interpretation in German sign language at some events. This is always indicated in our program with pictograms and you can also select it digitally as a filter function. Via KulturPott.Ruhr we offer a contingent of tickets for people with little money but a great desire for culture.

Here you will find all information about inclusion at lit.RUHR.

If you have any questions about inclusion, please contact Alessia Heider: heider@litcologne.de

Numerous lit.RUHR events will be recorded by media partner WDR 5 and in some cases broadcast as radio programs. You will find the broadcast times in due course on the homepage of WDR5.

Our festival headquarters are located at Zeche Zollverein in Essen. We will be happy to help you at our info point. You can also purchase tickets for events on the site here.
