Tickets can be purchased online from our ticket partner myticket. If you have any questions about booking, please contact myticket customer service: help@myticket.de.
In Essen, you can also purchase tickets at FUNKE Kiosk, Jakob-Funke-Platz 1, 45127 Essen (Mon - Fri, 8 a.m. - 8 p.m. and Sat. 8 a.m. - 6 p.m.).

For events taking place at Zeche Zollverein, you can purchase tickets during the festival at the Infopoint at Zeche Zollverein. Opening hours during the festival (17.-22.10.23): Tuesday to Friday from 3pm to 9pm, Saturday from 2pm to 9pm and Sunday from 10am to 9pm.

Prices: All prices quoted are subject to the usual advance booking fees. The prices for the children's events and the evening box office are final prices.

Discounts: We offer reduced-price tickets for the following groups of people: Pupils, students, trainees, FSJ volunteers, severely disabled persons (with a degree of disability of 70) and recipients of benefits under the German Social Code II and XII (SGB II and XII). Proof of discount must be shown at the entrance without being asked.

All events are fixed. However, changes may occur. Please subscribe to our newsletter to stay up to date.

If you would like to book a wheelchair seat, a reduced seat due to a severe disability or a seat with a view of our sign language interpreters, you can now select this as a price category directly on MyTicket. At venues with fixed seating, you will find the seats marked on the seating plan. In the case of free seating, our team will reserve your seats when you book on site.

In individual cases, wheelchair spaces may still be available at sold-out events. Please contact us to book: info@lit.ruhr.

A free seat for the person accompanying wheelchair users is automatically booked and placed directly next to/behind them. If you, as a person with a severely disabled person's pass B, also require an accompanying person, a free seat can also be reserved here. You can then select this during the booking process under “Accompanying person with severe disability B”.

Proof of the reduction will be provided at the entrance.

**Will tickets be available at the box office?
We generally do not have a fixed box office contingent for sold-out events. However, there are always cases where audience members give away or resell tickets from a companion who is unable to attend, so it may be worthwhile to drop by. Safer: Have a look at our ticket exchange in advance or place a request.

**Can I pay by EC card at the box office?
We have EC card machines available at many events. However, to be on the safe side, we recommend carrying cash. This can also be helpful for the checkroom or drinks.

No, your event ticket is not valid as a public transport ticket.

The personalization of tickets is a basic setting in the booking process at myticket, but we have activated this as an optional function. This means that you do not have to enter any personal details, but can if required. This can be useful for groups of people with discount entitlement, for example, as the data then matches the proof of entitlement. You can pass on all tickets, even if they have been personalized - e.g. via our ticket exchange platform.
